The Villa Family
The Villa Family headed by the late Mr. Roque Villa were from Mambusao, Capiz, the Philippines. In search for a greener pasture, the family went on a trip to Mindanao. The family started to clean forest of Norala, South Cotabato and transform it into a rice field.
Yoyoy and Yayay was blessed with many children. Alejandro (My father), Arsenio, Alfredo, Alberto, Ipay, Merry, Diday, Melyn and Alfonso.
In October 1964, my father Mr. Alejandro Villa married my mother Mrs. Felicitas Gregorio-Villa and live separately in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat where all their children were born. Crisanto being the eldest, Doris the only daughter, Rey (its me), and Jude the youngest.
Three of their children were married. The Youngest who is Jude is now a Priest who teaches Theology at the Seminary.
Crisanto Married Ruselyn Lastima of Carcar, Cebu Last May 8, 2002. Right now, Crisanto is in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia working as QC-Electrical Engineer. His wife Teling is in Cebu.
Doris, the only daughter married Nilo Taray of Talisayan, Misamis Oriental. They now live a happy life at Nilo's place.
I married Katherine Silabay of Isulan, Sutan Kudarat. She was my classmate in highschool. Now we live at Rosalina 3, Dumoy, Davao City.
Jude, the priest in the Family is now teaching seminarians at the seminary in Cotabato City.
Our Family has two (2) adopted children.
The first one is Jack Villa also known as "Balong" who was given to us last July 10, 199_ (I forgot the year). He is now in Isulan with our parents.
Rizza also known as Luningning is our cousin who was adopted by our parents. She is now a third year high school student at Notre Dame of Isulan.
